Node Role ​

Node Role — a logically distinguishable service or verification function of a node.

Archive Node ​

Archive Node — a node role that retains a fuller historical surface and supports deep reconstruction.

Light Verifier ​

Light Verifier — a node role that verifies canonical current state through published network outcomes and the evidentiary surface without full local reproduction of history.

Main distinction of the section ​

One must not collapse:

• deployment mode and the architectural core;
• node role and a right to content;
• the archival role and the whole network canon.
