Operator and Roles

The role boundaries within the infrastructure are organized around one question:

who exactly does what in the network, and where does that architectural role end?

At this layer, the following are distinguished:

  • the operator layer;
  • the operator boundary;
  • node roles;
  • visibility and observability;
  • receipts, proofs, and proof packages;
  • deployment modes.

In Realith, a service role must not automatically mean a right to the object, the content, the interpretation, or the canon.

the network may have a strong service layer, but that layer must remain a service layer.
